A pair of midcentury-inspired chairs, a rustic picket desk and a custom banquette topped in plaid cloth comprise a sunny corner breakfast nook. All of the house's window frames are stained Douglas fir to continue heat and a connection to the woodsy setting. "Corner home windows and nook banquettes go hand in hand," Del Bucchia says. "It draws in great morning gentle to read the newspaper with a nice cup of espresso."The sage-coloured kitchen cabinets lengthen along the floor to shape the bottom of the banquette, which incorporates garage for napkins and placemats.Earnest eating chairs: Nuevo Living; seventeenth C.
